Live Music, Parties and Competitions for Asylum 3

Live Music by Jason Manns

Jason MannsJason Manns arrived in Los Angeles in the summer of 2002 and has since played every popular venue in the city.

Jason's song writing and guitar playing match his smooth soaring vocals to give him a catchy yet soothing appeal. Jason's music has featured on CW's 'Supernatural', ABC's 'Carpoolers' and in the indie movie 'Cake

Further details can be found on Jason's Website www.jasonmanns.com.

At Asylum 3, Jason will be interviewing guests, signing autographs*, appearing in the photo studio and perform on one of the evenings of the weekend.

* Jason Manns is not included in any event packages therefore a fee will apply for each autograph.

Live Music by Coby Brown

Coby BrownHaving spent three years playing to packed houses in New York City clubs, Coby and his band, The Coby Brown Group, put out their debut album Homesick.

The album received rave reviews in the New York press but Coby was already imagining where he might take new songs outside the democratic confines of the band. ‘Almost at once’ he met Gregg, left the band, and moved out to Los Angeles.

Further details can be found on Coby's Website www.cobybrown.com.

After many requests we are going to be running an Creative Art Competition at Asylum. We will have a room where all your artwork will be displayed and everyone attending the event can vote for their favorite and we will try to get some guests to vote. The winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremony and will receive a prize.

Competition 1: Make A Music Video

As the same as last year, we're running a competition for the best fan video produced of Supernatural made for Asylum! There will be a prize, of which I'm awaiting confirmation of what that will be.

There's a few rules to the competition:
1. Each attendee is only allowed 1 entry into the competition, so make sure if you do more than 1 that its the one you want too enter!
2. The video must not be uploaded onto you tube or viewed by others until the actual convention. 2 reasons for this, 1 is to stop people from stealing your idea's and 2 is so that it gives folks some unseen entertainment at the convention!
3. All entrants must be received by the 17th April 2009. This is to ensure i have time to go through all of them and make sure there in a readable format to be able to be shown at the convention (and this year, they all will be shown).
4. Please make sure that your forum username, your personal name and the track title is written on the disc or in the file name title. This is just to ensure I know who its come from and to make sure the prize goes too the right person.

You can send the video through to Doug in any format, but its preferred to be on DVD. Send completed video by post to:
